How it works
- ConnectConnect a Mac running Time-line Live to the DJ decks via Ethernet.
- AnalyzeAs each track is loaded, machine learning analyzes the audio locally and generates a rich stream of musical metadata, including upcoming musical events, BPM and event progression.*
- TriggerUse Node-RED to build custom workflows from musical events and metadata. Output OSC and MIDI commands for lighting consoles, media servers, and other show systems.
*Audio is analyzed locally for music event detection only. Tracks are never uploaded, stored, or shared.
Why Time-line
A new approach to live production
Traditional productions rely on either fixed timelines (timecode) or manual operation. Time-line synchronizes the production to the music itself, keeping show systems synchronized while allowing artists to remain free to improvise.
